- Basics of calculating the size and spacing of stones.
- Bezel Setting: Setting stones in a metal layer that completely surrounds the stone.
- Pave Setting: Placing small stones very close together for a sparkling effect.
- Prong Setting: Setting with “prongs” to hold the stone securely.
- Channel Setting: The stones are placed in a line between two metal walls.
- Flush Setting: The stones are set within the surface of the metal for a clean and modern look.
Engraving
- Basics of engraving and use of special tools.
- Designing and creating unique artistic motifs.
